MacAskill starts his journey to the Scottish countryside on a train, from which he jumps out on the tracks and then hops a fence to ride through wheatfields; at one point, while he's balancing on top of a hay bale rolling downhill, a farmer greets him by name.
He hops up and over cottages, startles ducks, and even rides his way out of a ludicrous puddle—ending his journey by coming home to his dad.
The RedBull video highlights MacAskill's mad bike-handling skills like usual, but the juxtaposition of his crazy stunts against a bucolic backdrop give them new life and excites us all over again about the crazy places bikes can take you.
