Sections of Franklin and A'Beckett streets in the Melbourne CBD will be closed from today for up to five years to build the CBD North train station, part of Metro Tunnel project.
Franklin Street is closed to vehicle traffic between Swanston Street and Victoria Street, and A’Beckett Street is closed between Swanston Street and Stewart Street.
As reported last year, parking spaces along La Trobe Street will be removed to improve the flow of traffic which will make it easier for __bike to see up ahead as they approach intersections.
