Bicycle Collective

It's with great pleasure that we invite you to Bike Prom 2015!

Bike Prom is the Bicycle Collective's annual party and your annual chance to dress up in fancy attire and cycle through town with 500 of your best friends. This year we're blowing up the block! Expect an indoor/outdoor party, multiple bars, and even more tomfoolery and celebrations. Get your tickets now! Pre-registration is up and running at http://www.bikeprom.com/.

For those who don't know, Bike Prom is the Bicycle Collective's biggest party in Salt Lake, and as elegant as we get. It's a benefit gala that directly supports the Collective, a celebration of our past year and the hard work put in by volunteers, employees and community members, a kickoff to a new season, and most of all a chance for all of the faces within the bicycle community to meet, interact, welcome newcomers, build connections and make a fool of themselves on the dance floor!

Bike Prom borrows your favorite parts from proms past; dancing, friends, awkward prom photos and dashingly gorgeous outfits (the good, the bad and the ugly are all welcome) and combines it with the things you love as an adult; bikes, good food, adult beverages, good music and more bikes! Couples welcome! Singles welcome! Groups welcome!

The event consists of a pre-ride open to all ages beginning at the north east corner of Liberty Park. Wear your fancy duds and bikes to match, showy tandems and tall bikes encouraged. The ride will wind at an easy pace through downtown Salt Lake, taking several breaks to regroup and get a groove on. You won't break a sweat on this ride and no one will be left behind. We will end the ride at 8:00 pm at Pierpont Place, where our valet bike parking will be provided to keep your bike safe.

Inside (this is where it becomes 21+) the venue will be the beautiful dream you always expected your high school prom to be, but with bikes hanging everywhere. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, along with a cash bar (they take cards too) providing everything from fancy local microbrews to your cheap standby for those of us with class. The bike community knows how to dance, and returning DJ Phonic will accommodate all requests, as long as you dance to them. Classic prom photos will available from our lovely returning photographer Anna Day, using the amazing retro tandem shown in our poster. Did we mention it's available for purchase at the event in our silent auction, along with some other highly prized Collective memorabilia? As the midnight hour approaches we encourage you to make friends, bridge connections and maybe even host an after party. See you on May 30th

Pre-Register HERE and save $10 a couple off the door price!

RSVP on Facebook here and tell all your friends, let's blow the roof off the joint!
